Subversion is a a way but not the truth
the suspense it creates, the dichotomy of action and reaction
not knowing whether the desired effect is to be caused by the proposed action
like inhaling smoke, tiny dragons

Resistance isn't futile, existence is.

why is there evil - something to do with free will
clean up this mess!
I'm so tired I don't know what to do
did I miss something you said
I hope it wasn't important
because it won't matter in 5 years anyway

sometimes silence is

once there was a man who's world had become silent
the loudest sound in his life was his own breath
the only sound that kept him from sleeping
was the sound of the pulse on his wrist
he was not deaf or addled
but had been in a sense found by the silence
where once he was lost in music
now he was forever engulfed in awesome quietness
and rather than regretting the loss of the chaos
he reveled in what was now the reality of life
and the promise of quietness hereafter
